6th Grade Supply List
2024 – 2025

Please come with the following supplies your first day of school:

General Supplies Needed for All Classes ALL YEAR:

• box of pencils
• 1 red plastic folder with pockets & 3 prongs (this will be a homework folder for all classes)
  • cap erasers
• 1 box - colored pencils (12 pencil size)
• 1 box “skinny” markers
• Inexpensive headphones (with plug OR wireless)
• Notebook paper to refill binders/folders during year
• ink pens – red pen AND choice of blue/black
• highlighters
• pair of scissors
• handheld pencil sharpener
• zippered supply pouch to store your supplies

• Box of facial tissue
• 1 container sanitizing wipes (Clorox wipes)
• Optional Wishlist Item – individually wrapped candy for class prizes
• Optional Wishlist Item – glue sticks for classroom extras
• Optional Wishlist Item – (Boys) roll of paper towels
• Optional Wishlist Item – (Girls) box of pencils for classroom extras

 

Language Arts:

• Binder - 1 ½ inches with 3 rings with notebook paper (specifically for this class)
• Dividers for binder
• 1 pack of plastic sheet protectors

 

Math:

• 1 composition book (specifically for this class)
• 1 orange plastic folder with pockets and 3 prongs with notebook paper
• 2 expo markers (Black)
• glue sticks (specifically for this class)

 

Science:

• 1 composition book (specifically for this class)
• 1 binder – 1 inch with 3 rings with notebook paper (specifically for this class)
• 1 pack of dividers
• glue sticks (specifically for this class)
• Optional: Baggies of any size

 

Social Studies:

• Binder – 1 inch with 3 rings with notebook paper (specifically for this class)

 

Gifted:

• 1 plastic folder with pockets & 3 prongs (any color except those used by another class)

 

Study Skills:

• 1 1/2 -inch notebook

7th Grade Supply List

• Wired Headphones (NOT wireless or Bluetooth)

Supplies to be turned in to 1st period teacher:

• 2 packages of cap erasers
• 2 packages of 24 count or higher package of pencils
• 2 packs of notebook paper
• 3 boxes of Kleenex

Math:

• Package of dry erase markers (4) – (to be left in class)
• 1 inch 3-ring binder
• 5 dividers for the binder
• 1 pack of notebook paper
• 1 blue 3-prong pocket folder
• Texas Instruments TI-36XPro calculator is highly recommended and will be used for 7th and 8th grade.

Science:

• 1 inch 3-ring binder with pencil pouch
• 5 dividers for the binder
• 1 pack of pencils - to be left in class

Language Arts:

• Copy of The Outsiders by SE Hinton (optional but recommended)

• 1 book of 4x6 lined sticky notes for independent Reading

Social Studies:

• 2 packs of notebook paper - to be left in class

Summer Reading:

•  REQUIRED TEXT for all students:
  • Escape from Warsaw (aka The Silver Sword) by Ian Serrailleir
• ALSO REQUIRED, but you may choose between:
  • Red Scarf Girl by Ji-li Jiang (recommended for girls).
  • Hatchet by Gary Paulsen (recommended for boys).

8th Grade Supply List
2024 – 2025

Georgia History:

• Minimum 2-inch 3-ring binder
• 12 dividers with labels
